We recently met with Jessica, a mama of two little girls.

Q: Jessica, talk to us about your family.

A: I’m a single mom to two little girls. I have Madison, age 6, and Kinsley, age 3. They are my mini-me’s! We live in Las Vegas. My daughters are the greatest blessing in my life! They’ve been my rocks as a single mom.

Q: You’re a mom of two girls, how do you like to be a #girlmom?

A: I only had a sister growing up, so girls are all I know. I love being a girl mom. My girls are so sweet, sassy, and funny! Very emotional some days, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My oldest Madison is actually a tom boy. She loves cars, trucks, Star Wars, anything the boys like to do. She is into art and very creative. My youngest Kinsley is all girly princess. A different princess dress and heals everyday. She constantly applies makeup and is always taking care of her “babies”.

Q: What do you like do with your girls?

A: We like to go for runs! They are well behaved in the stroller. We have a pool so they enjoy swimming a lot. We get together with family or friends for play dates on weekends. When Disneyland was open, we had annual passes and went every few months. We travel out of state on road trips a lot to see my family. They love to see their grandparents and cousins! At home, they are big snugglers. They love to lay in my bed, eat a treat, watch a movie, and try to sneak sleeping with Mama!

Q: What’s your favorite thing about being a mom?

A: My favorite thing about being a mom is that I have two little pieces of me forever. We know each other’s heart from the inside out. I have learned I am the ultimate Mama Bear. They are my babies, always and forever. I have learned they have true unconditional love, just as I do for them. They are my world and push me to always be the best I can be. I get the chance to leave a lasting legacy through my kids.
